It's true. I asked some buddies to meet at the game the other day, but they all said they just can't get over that stupid thing Jack Flaherty said three years ago.

Mozeliak and his obvious incompetence.
Flaherty and his youthful, dumb mouth.
All have contributed in one way or another to where this organization is today.
Revenue going down, because no one cares to watch the garbage they sell.
Miscue after miscue in both the free agent market, draft and farm system.
Why would anyone want to take their kids to this burning pile of garbage.
In short, it's a true dumpster fire.

Still, not sure how Flaherty and his mouth have contributed to the state of the Cardinals.
Worried about everything but the task at hand.
Young and dumb.
He ruined a chance at being one of the best.![]()

You really don’t think it would be better to have Flaherty is this rotation than Pallante? Or Mikolas?
The guy was an ignorant, cancer.

Take his off-field views out of it (if you can) and try again.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 14:41 pmNo.desertrat23 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 14:30 pmWhat a constructive retort.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 14:24 pmdesertrat23 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 08:58 amHe was only toxic to the Boomers in the fan base who couldn’t handle that he was opinionated. I blame BDW and John boy Mozeliak. Mozeliak for being an arrogant, do-nothing, putz and DeWitt for not firing him.
Im to the point that I dont blame Oliver anymore. He's just a pud who is outside his capabilities. Mozeliak hired him as a reward for snitching on Schildt. Im not even sure Marmol is smart enough to realize he was given a no-win situation.
As for Flaherty, I could care less. The guy never reached the ace level the team claimed he was. Hes not the reason for the current mess.

The owner gave Moe plenty of money and he still didn’t deliver.

I was in Section 148 last night...never saw a crowd that small...place was dead, no enthusiasm...talked to the few people around me...consensus was that Mo-ran is an embarrassment and should have been fired...and DeTwit still doesn't understand the damage that has been done to the fanbase...and the bootlickers on here will keep sniping at anyone who disagrees with the front office.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 18:08 pm I blame BDW and John boy Mozeliak. DeWitt either owes a gigantic debt to Mozeliak or has lost his desire to own a franchise. 99% of owners would have fired the jackass years ago.WLTFE wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 04:44 amI was in Section 148 last night...never saw a crowd that small...place was dead, no enthusiasm...talked to the few people around me...consensus was that Mo-ran is an embarrassment and should have been fired...and DeTwit still doesn't understand the damage that has been done to the fanbase...and the bootlickers on here will keep sniping at anyone who disagrees with the front office.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 18:08 pm I blame BDW and John boy Mozeliak. I blame Jeremy Hazelbaker.

I blame Johnny Wad
Re: Cards Plight: I blame dEWitt, Mozeliak and Flaherty
Exactly. He has zero knowledge about Flaherty's impact on the environment. I never heard another Cardinal criticize him. Gee, I wonder why he'd throw Flaherty in that group. Hmm.

While I wouldn’t have made this post myself, Jack was someone who contributed to the downfall of the Cardinal brand by breaking the 4th wall. The thing guys like Waino gave ultra respect to in the public eye, Jack desecrated on.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 08:05 am The only way Flaherty has contributed to our mess is because he didn't pan out as a player. What an odd one to lump in there.
There are WAY mouthier players on WAY better teams.
Jack wanted to be a social agent of change at time that racial issue was peaking, and the young man has a personal racial identity crisis given his family background and adoption.
Jack played a very small part in the crumbling of the Cardinal image.

That's a fair point. It's bizarre to me how many Cardinals fans absolutely demonized him for that, but that's the demographics of the fanbase, I guess.TheSolution wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 13:24 pmWhile I wouldn’t have made this post myself, Jack was someone who contributed to the downfall of the Cardinal brand by breaking the 4th wall. I'll give it to you man, that was a nice chuckle.
