Re: Arenado out and Herrera in left
From Jeff Jones:
Herrera, grinning ear to ear, said the last time he played OF, he was 14, but he feels comfortable and confident out there. Has been doing daily work since coming off the IL. Hasn’t ever played OF under lights but he did say he generally sees the ball better at night.

Meanwhile, his idol, Pedro Pages, has 0.0 fWAR and a sub .600 OPS. And his catcher ERA has gone skyward.

Pages looks like he is wearing down. I'm hoping we get a look at one of our catching prospects this September.icon wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025 16:54 pmMeanwhile, his idol, Pedro Pages, has 0.0 fWAR and a sub .600 OPS. And his catcher ERA has gone skyward.
