Blues Own Sideshow Distractions
The St Louis Blues lead the way in the Sideshow Distractions. First the Winter Classic. Then 4 Nations. Now the Olympics.

Amazing how Armstrong can never angle for TOP5 draft picks, but he sure knows how to rule the sideshows.

Past time to shut this clown down.

a smell of green grass, look at me, I'm trolling you. Not really, I'm just missing the point of my foe list.
I never advocate for the use of the foe function but man alive does it work wonders for this clown. At least in this thread nobody is quoting him. I encourage everyone to give it a whirl.
Does anyone remember Beev from the old CA forums? He did the exact same thing. Would start topics over and over and over on the exact same things Got the same kind of love.
I'd like to steer the food convo (love it by the way) in a different direction. I'm not hoidy toidy by any means but I'd like to discuss nicer places. You know, the places around town where you go for a milestone birthday or anniversary or to celebrate something special, or just because you feel like it. My current go to places for such occasions: Vicia, Olive and Oak and Annie Gunns. All vastly different food experiences. All share top notch food quality, service, atmosphere with very little pretension especially compared to the experience you get at places like this in bigger cities. What say you?

I like Annie Gunns. I have never visited the other two. I will add them to the list.George Zipp wrote: ↑22 Jul 2025 08:18 am a smell of green grass, look at me, I'm trolling you. Not really, I'm just missing the point of my foe list.

There's a great Mexican place right near my house, El Milagro Azteca, that has some great tacos. Especially their birria tacos. Might talk to the wife about going tonight instead of cooking.

I had high hopes for some swordfish tacos at a new place I checked out a couple weeks ago up here in the NE. Boy was I let down. I miss those SoCal fresh fish tacos.

I like El Maguey as well. There’s a place by me called El Agave which is pretty good also. Of course growing up in North County nothing beat Ruizmoose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑22 Jul 2025 08:28 am not much into the higher class establishments..
