I loved it when the Cardinals got Bruce Sutter from them. They thought Leon Durham was well worth the deal......until he let that ez grounder go through his legs in the playoff vs San Diego.

Even better was the Brock for Broglio deal - just imagine the Cardinals not getting to the WS in '64, and Lou teaming up with Banks, Santo, and Williams to put the cubbies in the WS a few times.

Cub's 3rd basemen have combined .199 ave with 1 HR, so it would be a significant upgrade.

Arenado is one of my all-time favorite players. Wherever he goes I will root for him, even if it is the Cubs.
