Has MLB, At Lost Last, Finally Started Using WHITE Game Balls?

Post by Pink Freud »

About a month ago reports surfaced the MLB noticed a purported increased drag on well-hit balls, flying four feet less than last season. :?: Since then, I can't help but notice the markedly whiter balls now used in every game; a rant I've been on for years to finally enact.

Has MLB finally tossed aside Lena Blackburne's Magical Mystery Delaware River tributary pudding-like mud and clay rub that has turned balls beige and tan for 100 years --- prior to that, it was dirt and tobacco juice --- , ostensibly to increase tack, which a dozen hardware store rubs could do without staining the ball??

A whiter baseball benefits hitters, fielders, and fans. The balls do appear whiter to these four eyes. It's about time.
