No, I’m pretty sure they play in St Louis and are called “Cardinals”, not “Redbirds”…

If you are a baseball fan, you already know that on any given day the other team can beat you. Check with the Dodgers on how tough the Pirates can be. The Pirates have shown some real spunk of late.

In the last month the Pirates have swept the Phillies, Mets, and Cardinals.

They start the road trip out by sweeping Cleveland and then get swept by the last place Pirates! Every time I start to feel good about this effing team they turn around and kick me in the teeth! Well I not going to pay any attention to them this weekend in Chicago!

I would like to know why a Pirate did not take a fast ball in the ribs. They take out one of our best hitters and hit Nootbaar in the foot and no protection. I would think that being down 5 runs they might as well send a message

it is going to get real ugly in Chi-Town : we'll score some runs but I'd bet dollars to donuts we get beat pretty good in all 3 games
