Why would you let the pathetic hitting Pages swing away

And if they can't bunt, then once again another Oli failure for not having them work at it

One of the easiest things to do is bunt.
LOL.. Sure Oli controls their batting practice...

Do people blame coaching on the manager? Also, who is to say they aren't working on it but still suck at it?

It's not easy

bunting is an art

I truly wonder if you all know baseball at times
Bunting should be easy, but you'd never know it the way our guys do it. You have to practice it a bit but there is really not much to it, especially when you are just trying to get the ball in play.
They practice hitting, not necessarily bunting. Argo should work heavily on learning to bunt. But bunting is a loser move statistically when looking at run expectancy.

20 scoreless innings for the Redbirds

Hope they don't make it to 21.

Meet the new CT chief Oli defender....scouty

And your the one who doesn't know baseball pal claiming bunting isn't "easy"

Catch the ball w/your bat, about as easy a thing to do in baseball moron.

Team Sacrifices:

Cardinals have nine so we know they can do it, Padres lead MLB with 19 and seven others have fifteen or more.
How many were unsuccessful? Were these bunts or sacrifices? Do they keep numbers for bunting explicitly? I'd love to see it...

Sac Bunt

They're tied for 10th in MLB w/25 sac flies

Bumbles double!

great hit...really slow on the base paths....great throw. He was dead to rights, but the Bouncing Bumbles slide got him safe. I think that was an accident

When you're in a funk like the Cards, scoring a run can make a difference, and bunting can mean the difference in a close game, such as 1-0.
