Nootbaar sitting 2 days in a row? Figures just as he was starting to pick it up…
In 2025
Noot vs LHP: .653 OPS
Gorman vs LHP: .519 OPS
Saggese vs LHP: .625 OPS
Donovan vs LHP: .649 OPS
Burleson has done better lately vs LHP but also holds a career .574 OPS vs LHP and unsurprisingly went 0 for 4 yesterday with a LHP on the mound.

And ditto
WTF
You'd rather play some guy you picked up off the WW instead of Noot in the (faux) runway season?
Under Mo/Oli this team makes some of the stupidest moves we've ever seen.

This pitcher is rusty reference mound presence . Id bunt him. Make him move. Throw. Make him uncomfortable in that heat.
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Cubs (6/26) ~ 1:15pm CDT
I guess I gave Oli too much credit yesterday when I assumed he was going to alternate Gorman/Noot yesterday and today. At least Gorman put up 3 good ABs against a tough lefty... but yeah downright weird to have Noot sit twice in a row and sitting either Burly or Gorman today makes way more sense.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 10:38 am Nootbaar sitting 2 days in a row? Unless Nootbar is hurt or suffering from some sort of heat exhaustion, I mean, what can you even say at this point ...
F'n clown show.

When will the Garrett Hampson era end? None too soon.

A Chicago radio guy reported Nootbar has had some neck spasms that were most likely heat related and they did not expect to see him much the rest of the series. He was having trouble with those spasms the other night, when he went to first they had to treat him.

DFA'd by the 4th of July?
2025
Hampson vs LHP:
.143 .308 .190 .498
Noot vs LHP:
.219 .339 .314 .653
Where's the edge Oli?
Do we really think this guys even going to be on the roster more than a month?
Noot last 6 GP:
.318 .423 .773 1.196

Nah, take the simpleton way out and just blame that piece of [shirt] manager...why think the team knows it's players and their injuries while couch jockey's know it's the managers faultBob Kunush wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 11:12 am A Chicago radio guy reported Nootbar has had some neck spasms that were most likely heat related and they did not expect to see him much the rest of the series. I suppose Nootbaar could be banged up. If not I'd rest Hampson in case he needs to pitch again today.
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Cubs (6/26) ~ 1:15pm CDT
That was G1 and he had a great G2 despite it. Still, makes sense.Bob Kunush wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 11:12 am A Chicago radio guy reported Nootbar has had some neck spasms that were most likely heat related and they did not expect to see him much the rest of the series. Well I said it was weird and I was clearly proven right that something was up. But yeah we're all simpletons and it's definitely not just you who is a giant (donkey)(pit).scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 11:16 amNah, take the simpleton way out and just blame that piece of [shirt] manager...why think the team knows it's players and their injuries while couch jockey's know it's the managers faultBob Kunush wrote: ↑26 Jun 2025 11:12 am A Chicago radio guy reported Nootbar has had some neck spasms that were most likely heat related and they did not expect to see him much the rest of the series.
