Still no Dallas talk. They got obliterated. Vegas had very poor goaltending…not solely blaming that but it’s truethegibby. wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:17 pmOil fast vs. Vegas slow. that's what I noticed. Kaprizov and Boldy fast vs. Vegas big, but slow, D.theograce wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:14 pmYou didnt address the Dallas question. Why did they get obliterated whereas Vegas lost a bunch of one goal/OT games. You don’t take conference final champs to OT and lose one goal games because you’re old and slow. We can agree to disagree though yupthegibby. wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:10 pmAgree to disagree I guess. I see Vegas as a team on the downturn. Had money on them and they looked horrible.theograce wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:06 pmThey are known as one of the best transition teams in the NHL. They played the Oilers much better than Dallas did. What’s Dallas’ Excuse? Slow? Not talented?thegibby. wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 12:04 pmYou knew early they had no chance vs. Edmonton..... and Kaprizov and Boldy almost beat them by themselves; they had no answer for those two.theograce wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 11:47 amThey have core speed and are one of the better transitioning teamsthegibby. wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 11:43 amVegas is an extremely slow team; need to do something.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 11:39 amI'd say:ManitobaBlues wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:44 amprobably 0.0000001%STL fan in MN wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:34 am Tomas Hertl…
And he has a 3 team trade list. What are the odds the Blues would be 1 of the 3 teams he’d have on his list?![]()

I will take a stab at the three teams; I might be wrong, but from an interview I saw with him last year, he loves the Western side of the US.
1. LA Kings
2. Back to San Jose(I doubt they take him back)
3. Anahiem
1) Florida
2) Dallas
3) Seattle
they're Eichel and a bunch of slow movers IMO.
I can see why Vegas needs Marner (speed and creates); Eichel is the only guy that creates.

..via Spector:
The Golden Knights must shed some cap space if they want to sign Marner or another notable player in this summer’s UFA market. Recent speculation suggests they could get some cap flexibility if defenseman Alex Pietrangelo goes on long-term injury reserve next season. So far, there’s no confirmation regarding his status.

Yep. And picking 3 teams that are in absolute cap hell would be a good way to effectively turn a 28 team NTC into a full NTC…MiamiLaw wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:10 pmHertl doesn't care whether they can or not when making his list.Nublues69 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:07 pmflorida and dallas cantMiamiLaw wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 11:39 amI'd say:ManitobaBlues wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:44 amprobably 0.0000001%STL fan in MN wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:34 am Tomas Hertl…

Re: Thomas Hertal
that is very true and I hadn't thought about that. I do wonder if they would pull a Marc Andre-Fluery with him and tell him he's getting traded no matter what so to pick a team.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:10 pmHertl doesn't care whether they can or not when making his list.Nublues69 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 13:07 pmflorida and dallas cantMiamiLaw wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 11:39 amI'd say:ManitobaBlues wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:44 amprobably 0.0000001%STL fan in MN wrote: ↑25 Jun 2025 09:34 am Tomas Hertl…
