catchers gotta catch
I'd take Herrera catching everyday if it meant I'd never have to see Walker bat in a Cardinal uniform again this year.

Only three hitters have put together this combination of stats so far in 2025:

Batting average of .315 or higher.

On-base percentage of .389 or better.

Slugging percentage of .534 or higher.

OPS of at least .923.

OPS+ that’s 57 percent above league average or higher.

The three hitters are Aaron Judge, Freddie Freeman and Ivan Herrera.
Don’t tell scouty he thinks Herrera just a .700 ops hitter

This team is just bad. No impact players just a lot of guys who will never will help this franchise win. Donovan is a keeper. This organization has a long way to go.

Put it on a tee, slow change right down central. He couldn't help but hit that one out.

Slow Mo probably missed the opportunity to trade Matz.

But I thought players were supposed to watch pitches thrown down the middle. That was the no swing zone.

and this should stop the "Trade our farm for a better hitter to make a run at the last playoff spot" OP's

tank enough to drop 8 more spots overall and firmly cement the 11th spot in next years draft....we can't get the 10th b/c the Rox actually suck worse than us.

and in the mean time.... SELL, SELL, SELL

get all you can before the draft, including CompBal picks!!!

Who said we had a juggernaut offense?

It's one thing on 3-2 count if the strike called is a pitch on one of the four corners which could go either way .. but a pitch right down the heart of the plate and you stand there looking . That was 2nd time today he didn't swing on ball down the middle and struck out on the pitch.
His 'runway' has probably been closed .
Wonder what Brant Brown thinks spending all the time he has working with Walker and watching him stand there and take a 3-2 pitch , bases loaded , 2 outs and not even swing.

Matz throws the only pitch that Michael Taylor can hit

84 mph hanging changeup

Just ridiculous game management

Scott's another guy that won't ever become a good player. Him, Walker, and Gorman are a failed experiment.
