Sorry, but I don't ever remember this many rainouts
Anyone have any facts on rainouts?

The BFIBs would have a collective heart attack if St. Louis had a stadium with a roof. I would support it, but we might lost half the fanbase

No facts, but this has been a very unusual spring. When the faucet finally turns off it may not open again until September.

I would hate to buy tickets and drive over 400 miles round trip for a rain out. A retractable roof would be nice.

Not having a retractable roof is stupid, and I don't care how "unsightly" some think the roof looks. And I always thought dynamic scheduling would prevent a lot of rainouts but no one else seems to like my top-notch idea.
Ie... Games could potentially start up to 2 hours early or late (maybe during the rain season in certain locations) than the original start time depending on weather, with the final decision being made up to 6 hours before the scheduled start time.

Nothing like a head fake with no game played to prevent a team from building momentum after a day of total domination.

They don’t wait out rain delays much anymore
The Reds did tonight however game delayed by 2.5 hours and playing at 915EDT

Very wet Spring. Farmers are still attempting to get in fields here East of Mississippi

I've been there 4-5 times. Great stadium, and being Wisconsin those were the only times I've tailgated before baseball games. Even in 2012 after the Cards best the Brewers the razzing from my Cardinal jersey was mild.

Stros and Pittsburgh started a game at 10pm earlier this year…..ended at 12:30
and the Stros had to travel that night..
Going to a city once a year is a problem…..go twice a year, or not at all
As to domed stadiums…beyond no rain outs…so many other non baseball events can be planned without weather concerns..

Yes…..we had a very positive experience there..

Starting regular season third week in March and having a WS ending in October probably has considerable impact. MLB guru's no doubt hope the WS occurs in LA, Phoenix, or Florida.
