All teams slump. Good teams find a way to get out of their slumps before their season is ruined.
Can the Cardinals make adjustments and get back on the winning track? It is easier if you play good fundamental baseball and don't have to overcome as many of your own mistakes. Today they simply were beaten. Only 3 hits (all in a row) isn't going to win.
