he's worked hard for more than 2 months to get his ERA under 5.00...he just went under 4 ERA this inning....down to 3.96.

the difference this year vs. last year with Springfield.... Rajcic's control with his fastball, and especially his Changeup have been night and day...His changeup is his best pitch...looking good this week...May, too.

Watched quite a bit of Chen-Wei Lin today. I can see why he's still in high A as a 23 old. Still seems too raw to have consistent success at the higher levels. You can see why he had so much success as a 22 year old in A. The stuff is there and he's usually around the plate. But he reminds me of Riley O'Brien, tall lanky and just doesn't have consistent command of his pitches. Definitely has some upside but would like to see him level up a bit in the next year or so.

I’ve been watching this game and JJ’s amassing is incredible. Massive bat speed from a swing that seems twice as fast as others. How he swings that hard and makes such great contact is beyond me.
