Couldn't stop the Royals offense
But allowed 1 run to the dodgers in 2 games
Baseball is a crazy and wacky sport
Royals also can't beat the white Sox now

Kind of what makes it great. You can go out with your family and friends and enjoy a sporting event with no predetermined outcome on any given night.
Re: Couldn't stop the Royals offense
KC had ridiculous BABIP during the series. They showed a graphic and it was .340 I think. About 50 or more points higher than their season average. So many ground balls through the infield. Those things happen during a season.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 19:59 pm But allowed 1 run to the dodgers in 2 games

Exactly why I can never win a baseball bet on FanDuel. Well, that and I can't help myself and make 10+ leggers.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 19:59 pm But allowed 1 run to the dodgers in 2 games

That's why typically, the best teams in the league only win 20-25 more games than they lose. Over the course of a season, that really isn't real dominant. That's less than going 6-4 out of every 10 games.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 19:59 pm But allowed 1 run to the dodgers in 2 games

And stinking Royals back to sputtering vs the lowly White Sox.
You could tell playing the Cardinals in StL was their World Series.

It's also why you don't discount being in a wild card position. Anything can happen. Sure, it's not probable, just possible.RamFan08NY wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 22:19 pmThat's why typically, the best teams in the league only win 20-25 more games than they lose. Agree tricky position needing to sell to stay on course to a couple year commitment- but sudden success swells these senses.JDW wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 09:23 amIt's also why you don't discount being in a wild card position.
