He has two bad starts and you turn on him not even the best pitchers go 32 perfect starts it’s like you’ve never watched baseball before

The problem is it's beginning to resemble the same pattern he replicated during all his previous attempts to be a starter.

Almost all starters have 2 bad starts in a row at some point each seaspn.

When a good hitter goes '0 for... ' in a couple games in a row , fans hardly say Boo but let a starting pitcher have a couple off games and some are quick to pull him from the rotation.

I think that expecting max spin and max velocity for 300 IP isn't possible and not a weakness
of todays pitchers. Those 300 IP years were prior to 1981.

IF we look at a physical freak and HOFer in Nolan Ryan after his 300 IP season he averaged
206 IP's a season not that lore of 300. He also paid the price with his golden arm.
Again a HOFer threshold to live up to.

200 is more reasonable expectation in the current environment IMO.
IF Libs can do what he has been doing for 33 starts he'll be at 187 IP's seems pretty solid to me.

Yes, those would indeed be the numbers of a solid innings eating big leaguer. Problem is, I don’t think he’s gonna make it to 33/187 this year. He may fall quite short of it.
