On the Top 200 list for MLB.com on their Pipeline page, you can click on the individual player. This brings up a pop up BIO/Stats/News piece. On the BIO section you'll see their Weight, Height, Age....on the 4th line, you see "Commitment"...and it'll show the school.

Hope that helps

Caden Bodine...best player I saw this weekend. He understands his entire pitching staff. Calls his own game, and the pitchers for Coastal Carolina have been better because of him.

Bodine has mocked Top 30 pretty much all year. Probably the 2nd best catcher behind Stevenson (UNC). He's going to a Super Regional this weekend @ Auburn...tough match up, Auburn as the better offense, with CC having the pitching.

The Gators without Colby Shelton...bleh team this year.

ECU was a scrappy team to watch...several possible Day 2 draftees atop their lineup.

Fairfield fans (the few that made the trip) were pretty snotty  . Connecticut bankers....gotta love them

16 teams left in College Baseball...whittled down to 8 after next weekend.

Prospects that are left and some prospects looking to improve or continuing their improvement on draft boards.

---------

Zach Root benefits the most from this Arkansas run. He might just be the Will Bednar (2021) of this draft....Late 1st round, early 2nd round pick coming into post season, benefits from a wonder postseason run and gets drafted around 15th overall in the draft.

LHP Zach Root, Arkansas ....he faces Tennessee this weekend, if he shuts them down for 6-7 IP, he'll vault into the Top 20, imo

---------------

Brendan Summerhill, OF, Arizona...hot hitter at the moment, does so many things so well...power may be the issue, but his hit, run, defense is too good to let the lack of current power weigh down his draft slot....He might break the Top 10 if he continues his performance. He faces off against UNC...stubborn team, good offense, good pitching...nothing great, but they have a legit shot to win the CWS this year.

Luke Stevenson, C, UNC...leader of the team, strong showing this weekend and into the CWS, he'll solidify his Top 20 landing spot. Teams value catchers alot.

-----------

Eyanson and Russell... LSU hurlers...not named Anderson, but they should go high in the draft. Their stuff is enough to get the drafted on Day 1....but the the Super Regionals and CWS will decided exactly where...that could be a $1million swing. LSU and Arkansas's pitching staff are the best in the nation (IMO).

----------

Bodine, C, Coast Carolina...his power wasn't what he'd shown in the past, but his overall offense was much better this season... wRC+ of 141, his best in 3 years with CC. He's a catcher first, and to see the offense shape up this well is impressive. This weekend will be an introduction to the rest of the world. If CC can make it by Auburn, well...the world will be his play ground...and the reward will be a Top 20 pick.

--------------------

just a few you might not have heard about before now.....

Enjoy the Super Regionals/CWS

Didn’t disappoint as he blasted a deep HR to left center.
18th HR of year.
Big size at 6-5, 220 smooth SS.
See why he is rated so highly.
yes, very intriguing.
but from what I gather from the many mocks, Cards would prefer high school position player or college pitcher.
lot of time left between now and actual draft.
who knows?
Along this line I would be curious using the last 10 years as a measuring stick, how many selected high school players taken in the 1st or 2nd rounds went on to actually be a productive major leaguer for the team that chose them? I get the potential aspect of it. You get to select a high tool player and stick them in the system and forget about for a few years as they develop and learn. It seems to me though that is also the down fall. You take a young man just reaching his prime years for wine, women and song. Give them some money to play with and then ask them to be a star. I just cannot remember how many have actually gone on to be a regular in the next 3 to 5 years. Seems to me rounds 1 thru 4 at least should be reserved for college players. At least you have them a season or two in the advanced leagues, and have had a chance to be social to determine if they have the character and drive to go further. Let's be honest. Like most anything in life it is not so much the physical tools that stop promising careers so much as a loss of focus and drive to live the dream one day. Also, you can have all the physical tools but if you don't have the smarts to know what your strengths and weaknesses are you can never be your best you.

I am not so sure the baseball systems are the best place to learn anyway. Hence why the Cardinals are spending so much time on it now. A player can go through 4 or 5 different managers, hitting and pitching coaches in a few years and really get a lot of the wrong messaging if not monitored correctly. In college they can see the same staff for 4 of the more critical years. Stability matters. Just a thought.
I usually keep this in mind when there are discussions of trading for prospects.

The 1st rounders are under 50% playing MLB for 3 years
2nd rounders under 32%, 3rd under 22% play 3 seasons.

LHP Jamie Arnold, FSU
Seems to be the safe pick. Probably a quick mover through the system. I've gravitated toward wanting Hernandez, but he probably won't be there. I know he's a more risky pick but i'm in a gamblin mood

Hernandez is my best pick, too. But indications from the pundits are we're not looking for a Prep Pitcher @ #5, so I'm getting myself used to this realization. . Anderson and Willits for me, I guess. I agree with you on Arnold being safe, you can't be upset with the pick. It's such a bad upper tier draft this year, and at #5, you want a knee knocker pick   Arnold isn't knocking my knees ::crazya::

I like Liam Doyle quite a bit after that recent video. I'm sure you saw it, he and the entire opposing dugout were talking trash, then he K'd the guy with 99in and yelled while running off the field. Gave me some of that Chris Carpenter fire vibes

as of right now (draft still long ways off), what I would love is somehow, some way, Kade Anderson falls in our lap at #5.

Extremely doubtful, but one can hope.

Otherwise, I like Willits a lot.

On June 5th , yesterday , Jonathan Mayo has Kade Anderson not only gone when Cardinals pick but has him going No. 1 , first in the draft .
He has Doyle , Arquette, and Holliday at 2, 3, &4 with Jamie Arnold going to Cardinals 5th.

It would be a tough choice if both Arnold and Hernandez are available at #5

Willits is incredible, and I'm feeling as we approach the draft, he would be a steal at #5. I don't think he'll be available...but 1-4 could all go pitching and he might be there.

Would you take Willits over Holliday if both are there?
