OT: St. Louis Weather Today - Major Damage and Multiple Fatalities

Post by TBone »

I hope all of Blues Nation here locally has survived as unscathed as possible.

A really tough day for the city.

Northern Wisconsin had at least 3 tornados and very high wind along with baseball size hail in some spots. Got some high winds and a little damage here but we fared pretty good compared to others.

My car looks like someone took a ballpin hammer to it because of the hail. No broken glass though. Got lucky.

My heart goes out to the four families that lost someone. Also, I pray for everyone that is without power, water or a bed to sleep in tonight.

We got lucky in Bridgeton. We got massive amounts of hail but it was small enough it didn't wreck the cars. It was so loud in my building from the hail that we didn't hear the Tornado sirens. Everybody's phones went off and we knew to head for shelter.

You're not to far from me. I'm in Overland. Enough hail fell in 5 minutes to completely cover the ground, looked like it had snowed 5 inches. Scary afternoon for certain.

They just released the kids out into the wild from school here right in the middle of it.

Was in far West County on a golf course. Horn blew and the course was cleared but leaving there I was walking through some timber when in a heartbeat the winds hit 50+ mph and the cracking sounds were popping everywhere. Pretty scary.

Feel terrible for the ones who had losses in life or property.

I was at Ronnie's watching a movie when this was going on, never even knew anything happened. It was bright and sunny when I went in, and bright and sunny when I walked out.

Yeah. Then later I'm checking X and see all the videos and I'm going what the hell?
