I would have let him finish but i wont fault him for going to Matz in this situation even if it doesnt work

With the two walks issued by Fedde, bringing in Matz then has one plus than if you wait one more batter. Say Fedde loads them up with another walk. Now Matz comes in with no bases empty and a walk by Matz scores a run . At least Matz has an open base if he walks his first batter. Gotta factor that in the decision .
