Draft /trades
I know not a great draft this yr, however, any chances we make a trade or 2 prior to draft to get some more picks. I see areas of weakness still in the pipeline.

unless we trade already drafted players in ahl or ohl. I dont think thats where we are in the team window. I dont think we need to trade pieces for the draft just draft were we place and add them to cupbard. Cause honeslty anyone we draft from here on out will just be capital for the deadline in a year or two so we can get the one rental or player to help in playoffs

Re: Draft /trades
Any chance of that? Sure. But really no way of predicting it.
My opinion is that our prospect pool is already very full of players that appear to be likely NHL contributors at some point. More than we could possibly have roster spots for. So my focus would be much more on quality than quantity. We don’t necessarily need more picks this summer. And having more prospects than we’ll have room for is a good problem to have. It means we can make trades like 2 good prospects for 1 really good player. Or one good player, one good prospect for 1 really good player. That’s the sort of asset capital Army has at his disposal currently.
So as someone who pays attention to the draft, would I like to see more picks this summer? Sure. Right now the Blues are going to pick 19th and then not again until the 19th pick of the 5th round - pick 147. Then again at pick 179 and…that’s it. But we lost those picks for good reasons (2nd for Broberg, 3rd for Holloway)…and also debatable reasons (our 4th for Texier and our 7th for Vrana). But I wouldn’t go out of my way to acquire more picks as our cupboard is already quite full.
But as Nublues points out, we do have some guys Army could move if he really want to and could likely get some mid-round picks for some of them.
