A Mammoth change in Utah.

The Utah Hockey Club has finally revealed their long-anticipated team name. For the 2025-26 season and onwards, they will be known as the Utah Mammoth, with a logo depicting the Wasatch Mountain range in the head of the Mammoth and a tusk that will also be used in other branding and logos. The club’s search for a team name involved a 13-month process and 850K fan votes, per ESPN.

It’s fine. I appreciate the mountains in the Mammoth head. Bit overall it’s pretty mid. But probably the best they could do once the better options were thwarted by copyright law.

I guess they didn’t like the logo enough to put it on the away jersey too? Not a big fan of their color scheme but it was obvious they were going to stick with that.

It's like the Nashville and Minnesota's logos had a child with different colors. I do not like the shoulder patches on the home jerseys, way too blocky.
