I just don't see him as the type of player who can contribute for four rounds of the SC playoffs. Of course, guys will go without scoring ... but when that is the case, you have to contribute in other ways. If he's not scoring, he really doesn't bring anything. He isn't winning board battles, controlling play through possession, etc. JMO.Sudsy 11 wrote: ↑05 May 2025 15:26 pm I've been a Kyrou critic for years. Thought he was too weak mentally to be a difference maker in the playoffs. This year was the first time that I thought he may have turned the corner. Holloway was a good role model for him and DH compete level rubbed off of him. I don't pretend to be a doctor and know whether he was injured. However, that compete level was not present when the Blues needed it the most towards the end of this series. One of the national announcers called him out at some point last night. It isn't just "Kyrou Haters". If he was playing hurt, that explains a lot. If not, maybe the Blues should listen to offers.
As a player with just a couple of NHL games under his belt, I though Snuggerud was far more engaged and more consistent in his effort throughout the series. Same with Bolduc.
