It’s really not. Carson Beck was a top 10 pick a year ago too. Quinn Ewers. James Pearce. Will Johnson. All top 10 picks before draft evaluations really began in earnest. And of course Shedeur Sanders who was a top pick right up until his name wasn’t called last Thursday. Something tells me Julian Lewis isn’t packing his room up in Boulder because their last QB tumbled down the draft.onemizzou wrote: ↑01 May 2025 17:27 pmBurden was considered at possible 10 pick going into his final season because of his performance the previous season. His drop has a LOT to do with his lack of utilization, that's kind of a back look for the OC and HC.Barksdale's People wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 18:18 pmYes, two top 40 picks. Both signed as HS recruits and developed by the current staff. Terrible look for Mizzou.onemizzou wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 16:28 pmI don't watch or care that much for the NFL but what I've seen and heard from RG3 has always been very much on point. He's a smart dude and yes I'd value his opinion over Kiper's by a mile. I hate that LB3 dropped so much because certainly it cost him a lot of money but also because it may be a black mark on the program because how can you not utilize a talent like that, especially in what everyone knew was his last season. It's coaching malpractice.JackBolly wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:23 pm Very happy for LB3 - the Bears and RandleEl will be good for hm. Much Congrats on a great accomplishment!
RG3 said LB3 was a top 15 talent and the Bears got a steal. I trust RG3's foorball opinions a LOT more than Kippers or the other ESPN bobbleheads, and definately more than any TB poster.
And that is just this year. Review any mock draft nine months later and you’ll see the same.
The only people who those names are a bad look for is mock draft “experts”.
