Dean opens the scoring with a nice backhand top shelf. Nice assist from Dvorsky.

He returned the last game of the regular season. Had a goal and assist that game.

Matt Luff scored a bad angle shot. T-birds up 2-0 after the 1st.

T-birds hold on to win 2-1. Outshot 40-15. Team MVP Colten Ellis stole this one.

For the record, Ellis was 5-1 against this team during the season. Providence appeared to throw a lot at him in the 3rd with no net front. Drove his save percentage way up.

100%

Unlike another team in St Louis, the Blues have a great team from Ownership to management.

It's an understatement when I say that I can't wait to watch Blues Hockey for years to come.

Dvorsky looked good in this game like he's right there with the pace of playoff play and Ellis was the best player by a lot. He has had a great year for them

Dean appears to have the same, admirable work ethic as Bolduc. He looks waaay more solid than when I saw him in Anaheim last season. I bet he hit the weights when he couldn’t skate and found other ways to improve his power and control. This injury might have had some excellent side effects.
He will play for the Blues, sports fans.
Thank you very much, Vegas.

The TBirds killed that Tanner Dickenson double minor in the 3rd. They looked better with basically an intact line up still no Dylan Peterson

Dean had a really nice takeaway in the 3rd and I need to rewatch the play but I think it was him that hit the post in the 3rd as well?

Yep. Ellis was voted as team MVP and it was totally deserved IMO. He was fantastic for them all season.

And yeah, Dvorsky looked good last night and he looks a lot more comfortable in the AHL. Which is fine. He’s 19. One of the youngest in the entire league this year. Maybe he makes the Blues of camp next season or maybe he needs a little more time in the AHL but either way, he’s well on his way to being an impact NHLer in time.
