According to the Tmac show , the Enterprise center is booked Friday and Saturday night next weekend. So that means we are looking at Monday and Saturday for games 1 and 2 and then Thursday and Sunday for games 3 and 4?

They theoretically could play a day game Saturday. As long as it doesn’t go to 5 OT it can’t be that hard to get the building ready for a comedian after a blues game.

Apparently (according to a poster over at the Blues HFboard) there is a concert at Winnipeg's arena on Saturday (4/19) and then the next Tuesday (4/29) as well which could impact a game 5 date.

So . . .
Game 1 - Sunday 4/20 in Winnipeg
Game 2 - Tuesday 4/22 in Winnipeg
Game 3 - Thursday 4/24 in St. Louis
Game 4 - Sunday 4/27 in St. Louis
Game 5 - Wednesday 4/30 in Winnipeg (if necessary)

Definitely is going to have an effect. We won’t get a Friday night or Saturday night game for games 3 and 4. Games 1-2 have to be Saturday and Monday or I suppose you could go Sunday Tuesday. First game for Blues at home would have to be next Thursday. No way they want to do a Wednesday for game 3 and then not play game 4 until Sunday. That would suck.

I was eating lunch at a bar and grill, so I couldn't rewind the DVR like at home, but I thought the commercial said the Stanley Cup playoffs start Sunday on ESPN. Makes me think no Saturday games.

I'm assuming they start on ESPN on Sunday, but the Saturday games will be televised on other channels.

Interesting on the progression to find a workable schedule for each set of teams.

The playoff matchups are now set. Then, they have to work out their playoff schedule based on respective venue availability. Then the league gets involved for start times and ratings considerations, and a lot of fans will not be happy with the start times in round 1.

I assume he just said that since that's when the first games start but not necessarily the Blues first game. They haven't set the schedule so he wouldn't know anything at that time.

Fun fact: Per an interview that I watched with the lead singer, the lyrical stutter, "buh buh buh baby you aint seen nuh nuh nuh nothing yet" was the singer making fun of his younger brother's stutter. And before anyone thinks that was mean, it cured his brothers stutter.
