It more like a reason based on champions and CWS participants in the event's history.Cold temp is just an excuse.

It's not my fault your favorite college baseball team is terrible. Complaining about the temp isn't making them any better. As usual you don't know what you're talking about.

Re: Mizzou Baseball
I never said it was.
I said you don't know your (donkey) from a hole in the ground on the subject.
And I'm right.
Now run along.
I predicted as much when the move to the SEC was made over a decade ago. Weather was just one of several reasons.
Re: Mizzou Baseball
So 10 years ago you predicted Columbia would be colder than most other SEC locales. Very sharp of you. What do you see for the next 10 years?
You'd be more credible if you turned that big brain of yours towards getting more school support and a better venue instead of going on about things you can't change.

Keep responding and getting farther behind.
Re: Mizzou Baseball
Mizzou needs to go after Tennessee vols assistant coach Josh elander. Dude can recruit and coach. Hes had 25 hitters drafted since 2017. He’s young, hungry, very personable, and learned from the best college coach in America.

Re: Mizzou Baseball
He’d be a great potential coach. There are literally dozens of great potential coaches and many established too. We should consider going after SEMO’s coach too. He has built on what Bieser did there and are a better program than Mizzou right now.
Re: Mizzou Baseball
Coaching is only one leg of the stool. The other two are facilities and NIL. All three require buy-in by the athletic department.

Re: Mizzou Baseball
0-15 in SEC after getting swept by Florida. Team ERA still almost 9.00. Now the hitting is drying up. Fielding is worst in the SEC too.
Jackson blaming it all on injuries. Every team has injuries. He had injuries last year too, with nearly all Bieser players and managed to win 9 SEC games.
This pitching atrocity more to do with the poor decisions Jackson has made with personnel, trying to get “his guys” in there, and lack of development. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s playing checkers while all the other SEC teams are playing chess.
It’s a shame the University has allowed it to get to this point. They’ll probably allow it to be this bad for years because of his very stupid contract.

Armchair must be very happy with the way the season and program are heading based on the number of posts he makes in this thread.

It’s frustration nimrod. You must not care given your laissez faire attitude. Or maybe happiness on your part. You seem to be a little too easily satisfied by 0-15 and an almost 9.00 team ERA.winonsports wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 08:53 am Armchair must be very happy with the way the season and program are heading based on the number of posts he makes in this thread.

When you are frustrated with your children, do you continue to tear them down? Do you continue to brow beat them in public? Do you continue to shout about how poor their grades have been?Armchair QB wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 09:12 amIt’s frustration nimrod. You must not care given your laissez faire attitude. All of that doesn't show how much you care.

In your analogy, I’ve criticized the teacher harshly. He’s bad. It’s not the players’ fault if he brought them into a situation they weren’t ready for, or he failed to develop them. Or simply didn’t work with certain students. He’s a bad “teacher”.winonsports wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 09:34 amWhen you are frustrated with your children, do you continue to tear them down? Kerrick Jackson gets paid a lot of money, he’s open for criticism when it’s called for. It is called for.
Why are you happy with 0-15 in conference? I think someone once said, show me someone ok with losing and I’ll show you a loser.

Re: Mizzou Baseball
Winonsports will be thrilled to learn that Mizzou baseball is now 0-21 in SEC play. The pitching staff is by far the worst in history at Mizzou and by far the worst in the SEC. And one of the worst in all of college baseball.
Kerrick Jackson took a decent pitching staff from last year, flubbed that up and brought in “his” guys. It’s been a disaster.
And now the offense is near the bottom of the SEC too.
Fire Jackson. He’s at best a high school coach. Hire a real coach please. Get the rebuild started immediately.
