No disrespect to you and I understand where you are coming from.hockey jedi wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 22:11 pm I know I'm in the minority, but I am pully for Calgary tonight. I've polled other posters and I appreciate their positions, but I think it serves the Blues better if the Flames win. I hate Kadri, but I like Conroy. The Blues need to win against Seattle and Utah because those are winnable games and we need to be going to the playoffs on a high note.
I not as positive as you are that Blues will win their last 2 games and get in playoffs without Holloway and also losing the Blues losing there Last 2 games. .
Calagary could be playing Teams in there last few games against Teams that have clinch a Spot in the playoffs and end up resting key players.
While posting.
Calgary up 3 to 0 so you getting your wish so far

Definitely cant assume the Blues will win the next two. The game against the Oilers was an easier matchup than the next two games.

Thanks OB, but if we don't win the last two games, we don't deserve to be there and we probably wouldn't do anything in the series anyway. I would sure love to see the team that won twelve straight games show up.

Re: Scoreboard Watch - Wild at Calgary
I'm with you Jedi. I'd rather have the WC1 spot and a Calgary win tonight serves that end. The Blues ran off 12 in a row, so I trust they will take care of business. If the Blues can't muster a win or 2 with arguably the best goalie tandem in the league then so be it. I'll find something else to do with my time in the off season. What I won't do is complain about "useless wins" that ruined the draft. Wins aren't useless.hockey jedi wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 22:11 pm I know I'm in the minority, but I am pully for Calgary tonight. Watching the Mild is depressing. Getting late here on EDT, I may not make it through this one.

Well [fork]. The Blues haven’t been able to get much help from other teams. Have to win our next 2 or we are going home it seems like
Re: Scoreboard Watch - Wild at Calgary
I’ve peaked at the score enough. 1-0 for awhile and now 3-0 after 2.
I give up on Calgary losing again. Everyone here knows what that means!
I had to edit this after reading the above 2 comments(Harold & Melvin). You two think that Minn can drop out of a spot instead of us? I don’t think that works with tie breakers. I’m old and want to see another run for a Cup after 2 downer losses, particularly the way Binner did not stop the final soft shot. A point would have helped the cause.
Tomorrow night we’ll see. Concentrate better fellows (on the ice)!!

Huh? No it wasn't.Bluesfan1978 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 22:30 pm Definitely cant assume the Blues will win the next two. The game against the Oilers was an easier matchup than the next two games.
The moment it was announced McDavid was lacing them up they immediately became better than Utah or Seattle.
Neither of those teams have players as good as him and he showed why.
They Blues should be prohibitive favorites in both games, they just have to actually play like they are the favorites.

They were missing 1/3 of their team. 2 of their top D. 2 of their top 3 centres. Kane, Fredric. their starting goalie is hurt as well and they've been playing their backup goalie almost every game. I know McDavid played but you cant get a more beat up team than the Oilers.
The Sharks are even staying with them tonight.

At this juncture, theBlues control their own future to get into the playoffs. I’m fine with either Min or Cal winning in regulation. I mean, Calgary winning just makes it more interesting.
If Calgary loses this game, I truly believe it is over for them.
