Last two games are must wins AND Wild must beat Flames in regulation on Friday.
That’s the only way Blues make the playoffs.
+1

If the Blues win their last 2 games then the flames cannot catch us.

Should not lose to this team in the condition it’s in. Should not repeatedly give up goals with under a minute to play.

The core group here just doesn’t have the backbone when [shirt] gets real.
Seriously, dude ?! Just go away. Please.
Counter anything I stated.
I would start with two of our core players are out (Holloway and Parayko) and we had two rookies (Snuggerudd and Dvorsky) in tonight playing top-9 roles.

We took it to the final 20 seconds of the game tied, and Walker was tripped at the other end on the breakaway, leading to the result at the other end.

With Parayko in and Faulk not repeatedly on the ice to end games, we likely don't give up as many goals with under a minute to play.

Go back to public school, your math sucks

If we win the last two we are are 97 points, flames today are at 88...9 PT diff, we also have tiebreaker

So no that's not the only way to make the playoffs. There are various scenarios which we could make it.

None of that has anything to do with the binary statements I made.

They just played probably the weakest lineup they’ll face out of their last three games.

So, true or false?

1) With what’s on the line, we should not lose to that Edmonton lineup.
2) Getting zero points out of the easiest remaining matchup could cost us the season.
3) We cannot afford to keep giving up goals with under a minute left.
4) There’s a consistent core group (veterans that have been on this roster for a few years) that fail to deliver in high pressure situations.

Completely untrue. You stated this core group doesn't have the backbone, so I led with two core players being out.

McDavid - one of the best players in history - is on the ice and they are playing a weak lineup? Weaker than Seattle and Utah? I disagree.

They just scored a shorty and dominated 4 on 4 prior to McDavid getting back on the ice and Walker getting tripped on a breakaway that eventually led to getting pinned in our zone and the goal against.

"Might be the season right there fellas" doesn't sound very binary to me. We still control our fate. Your opinion is that losing the way we did means that it is over, which is not factually true whatsoever.

No one disagrees we need to stop giving up late goals. But we have also had late GWGs ourselves. We do very well in OT. We all agree that veterans like Faulk and Leddy (not part of the core) should deliver more and not be on the ice in key late-game situations - but alas Parayko is out and the new core of D prospects hasn't arrived yet.
