Baseball. Marathon, not a sprint.
Mind blown...
This is not how you run a marathon.
I'm betting that you're be hearing fron the DeWitt and Mo-ran supporters about your negative attitude!
Here we go again. Not a thread can be started without someone beating that old front office supporter business.
Time to stop with that nonsense. Nobody watches games to see Mo, nobody buys jerseys with Dewitts name on it. Everyone, positive, or negative is a cardinal fan. I wish those could put the "front office butt kissers" shtick to rest once and for all. It really is old.
The progress our hitters have made, especially the kids, has been impressive. The offense has been relentless.
Pitching is at a crossroads. Mikolas is largely finished. Matz & Fede are trade bait. If it's truly a reset, let's see what Libby can bring along with McGreevy and eventually Mathews.
Leaving a reliever in that walks and walks folks, in the 9 inning, even walking in the tying run, shouts this is not a team sport, everyone for themself, puts the I in team, in capital letters. The mojo has left the building/

Well, about a so so overall start from what most would have expected.
Offense looks good, pitching has been inconsistent.
I'm still intrigued, and think it will be interesting to see how things develop.
