Sent to minors to fix his hitting he is completely lost at plate.If you send walker and gorman down winn is no exception.You have to have some production from shortstop, I will take a hitting shortstop who makes the regular plays than one who can't hit and makes an outstanding play on defense occasionally.This just didn't start with his bad at bats it was all during spring training to.

Donovan is a capable shortstop; but then you’d have Gorman at 2nd. He’s ok with the glove, but lacks range. Why screw up your infield? I saw a couple of Cleveland games last year - their infield defense -except at 1st - was spectacular, and helped them to win that division.

Winn is the best defender at short - remember his arm? leave him there.
