Let’s Go: Season Starts Friday

Post by DJ Davis »

Battlehawks vs Roughnecks, 7 pm, Fox 2

DirecTV (yeah can’t quit em) will have this in 4K HDR which is super high quality on their feed (better than streaming)

I kind of like having Friday night games.

Disappointing response...but this forum is slowly dying.

1st game of the season is tonight (March 28)......on national television (FOX)....at 7:00 pm.

Hopefully next Sunday's home opener can draw a big crowd. The league is probably depending on it.

Manny was pathetic last year. It is very disappointing they could not find or draft a better QB.

The Houston stadium looks EMPTY.

I don't understand why as the UFL, you don't have your first game at the dome with a massive crowd to pump up your product.

Not good.

I had an ESPN notification about games there on Sunday.

Didn't know there were other games before that.

Oh well.

Nice start to the season. Like the addition of the Friday night games this year.

273 rushing yards for the B'hawks, 0 turnovers, and Max Duggan got a few snaps.

Crowd in Houston was probably not a good look for the league in a primetime broadcast. Hopefully St. Louis can show them how it's done next Sunday.

They played well. The QB, RB, and offensive line were very good, and the secondary was excellent.
Disappointing there was no game thread. I enjoyed it. I'll be watching all year.
It is hard to build fandom when there is so little coverage of player procurement, and they practice out of town.
