Please update if rainout for opener

Post by ramfandan »

Good morning from Tennessee. My hourly Weatherbug for St. Louis
shows rain throughout the day at Busch. All set to watch the game on my MLB Extra Innings package on DirecTv.
Would appreciate weather updates and if Cards postpone game to Friday.

Thanks !

Small shower now. Future radar looks dry for STL, north of city looks rainy today. Hourly forecast agrees. Play ball!

No rain in Chesterfield

Game shouldn't be in any jeopardy, mid 60's at game time!

Thanks for the Chesterfield report. Are you going to the game?
Any reports from downtown?

Rain usually moves West (Chesterfield) to East (Stadium) but still all clear out here.

Headed down to the stadium around 1 pm! :D

Possibly some showers around 2 PM but shouldn't last, may delay pre-game festivities though.

Was thinking about the pregame ... the Red Jacket group riding in the open convertibles during rain .... Heard that a 2nd option was to have the guys ride in enclosed Tesla Cybertrucks ! Kinda get the season off to a 'hot' start !

The boundary is moving east to west from within, and barely south as a mass. 15 more miles south could lead to a rainy day.

Raining downtown, forecast now says moderate rain all the way up until 4pm-ish

So it's shifted toward a lot more rain than the initial prediction but I'd be shocked if they PPD.

Then again, I've literally seen them PPD just as the skies ahead turned completely blue and there wasn't a single cloud the rest of the day. lol

You never know with these geniuses.

Sprinkles have stopped in Chesterfield as we prepare to head downtown for the game.

KMOV:

chance rain
93% 1 pm
80% 2 pm
76% 3 pm

But no rain showing after that!
