THE FRONT OFFICE!!!!

In what world is the front office trying to decide who the 5th starter is and they are looking at the possibility of not including Pallente and McGreevy so they can play the salaries; AND we are considering sending one of our top 3 offensive players to AAA in Scott and keeping probably the worst offensive player in the Major Leagues, Siani, on the opening day roster. If anything, Scott, McGreevy, and Pallente are a trio of your main center pieces.

It is getting absurd!!!

Mr Cranny - I respect you because you are a true Cardinal fan and you always stand up for TEAM; but do you see the lack of baseball leadership in this front office's message?

Do you know how many years I've seen on here the lack of leadership from the Cardinals? Well before 2006.

Gorman actually has an average over .200

Donovan is batting .186 but I'm not honestly worried about him.

Who else would you add? I've been pleasantly surprised with the rest of our pitching
As others have pointed out, my expectations for this [shirt] show are so low, that it's not possibke for ne to be bothered and/or care.

This said, the problem with the Cardinals are the same problems that knowledgeable people have pointed out:

Mozeliak is still running the Cardinals and DeWitt still owns then.

The front office has brought us a lot of success over the years. It’s now changing to a younger regime.
Looking forward to it.

Another brilliant Mo move.

Here's to $5 tickets by June.

Would require the exorbitant use of internet ink, might break the internet.

Suffice to say that the largest issue/trouble is the fact that the issues will not be fixed/resolved in ST but be brought forward to regular season. This ownership, FO, manager, et at are incapable of fixing/resolving/solving/ etc any issues regarding a MLB team.

The fact that BDW Jr is clueless and lost his desire to win

The man lives in yesteryear and nostalgia

Nothing changes until…

Biggest concern is the fact management was too afraid to actually go all in on the rebuild. This pretense of being competitive to sell more tickets will not get them far this year and doesn't help going forward. If they still have Helsley and Fedde after the break (or if either is injured/performs poorly and brings back nothing) then the opportunity lost hurts even more.

Very well could be competing for a playoff spot at
that point. Would you still trade them?

This team doesn’t know how to win. There’s no urgency to win from the Owner…..FO……and manager is a an idiot. The team has no winning leaders sans perhaps Contreras has a bat and some fire. Given this where do you think this team actually goes??? You must see the missing pieces so prevalent in the teams you always refer to as “ MO’s Winning Year”……none of what attributed to those years are in place now and BDW seems either indifferent or incapable to bring those key factors back.

Former ST greats:

Greg Bird, 2016 - Yankees 1b = 8 HRs,.451 BA; 1.654 OPS. Hit .190 in 170 ABs and soon out of baseball.
Mike Braso 2023 - Brewers 6HR, .375, 1.000 OPS. Hit .204 and out of baseball.
Jake Fox O's - 10 HR, 1.112 OPS. Hit .754 OPS in
Kevin Neuman Bucs- .606 BA. Hit .226 and had worst wRC+ in baseball.

There are dozens of the opposite - great hitters who had terrible springs.
