Esthetically it's gonna be ugly this year. Tickets as low as 5.00 available
Anywhere from 5.00 to 25.00 outside of opening weekend (34.00) available ticket prices for home games according to season schedule on espn screams yikes.
Mock a 5.00 nosebleed ticket all you want. 5.00 before it gets hot as [fork] temperature wise is a good deal even if you're sitting as far away as possible.
Then look at available prices for the series in Chicago and it's 60.00 or more.
Sure play better than expectations and people will come but I think last summer of 10k in attendance is gonna be far more common all year than it won't be

maybe try having no expectations...maybe have a "like" instead. "I'd like to see the youngsters progress, show that there's some light at the end of the tunnel. Make the game look fun and young again. If they win, they win. If not...so be it. I think everyone would enjoy themselves much more if they did this.

Will we draw 500,000 more than the Mets like we did last year?

That Phil Maton signing has got Juan Soto shaking in his boots.

Cable television and the owner thinks he can buy a winner. The Cardinals cut Goldie and the two SP they signed last offseason.
Once the Mets signed Frankie Montas I knew we had better front office than they have.

Is this the same Cardinals front office that has given Miles Mikolas $18.5 million each year since 2023 and Steven Matz $44 million over 4 years?

Both are better than Montas which is saying something.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:33 pmIs this the same Cardinals front office that has given Miles Mikolas $18.5 million each year since 2023 and Steven Matz $44 million over 4 years?

The emptier an MLB stadium is, the less entertaining even a solid game is, IMO.Diddy_KellOfBabyOil wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 13:58 pm Anywhere from 5.00 to 25.00 outside of opening weekend (34.00) available ticket prices for home games according to season schedule on espn screams yikes.

Adding fans can improve the excitement, apologies for lacking a better word.
IF the $5 guys have a genuinely good time, maybe they come back. Buy a shirt they're golden.

This is precisely how Cardinals fans got through the 1970s. I attended hundreds of those games from the very top row right behind home plate...in the shade. If the team sucked I'd get my entertainment watching elderly fans on Senior Citizens Days trying to make it up to those discounted seats in the clouds.craviduce wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:08 pmmaybe try having no expectations...maybe have a "like" instead. It don't apply to me. I've been on tram rebuild since the days of all we had was cmart and matt carpenter.craviduce wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:08 pmmaybe try having no expectations...maybe have a "like" instead. But all the people on here who point out obvious negatives and dumbfuckery that this FO does or doesn't do when they should do it get called haters and spoiled by the office jockeys on here. When in reality it's the casual fans that aren't on these sites that are the entitled spoiled brats. With all my pro teams I've always been in the camp of either be good enough to win it all regardless of results or suck while building something to eventually be good enough to not onky win it all but do so for an extended period of time
