Dazepster & Barking Lion are both back, but need to make their team names identifiable.

Newcomers are - Alex Reyes Cy Young, HorseTrader, RichieRich & Youboughtit.

Could we vote on whether we might make that two such spots, maybe at the cost of subtracting one IL spot?

Suppose so.

I’ll start up a poll in the next few days, perhaps with three options… one being to add another N/A spot, without dropping the IL slot.

Last year, the league had 1,118 total league transactions and 58 trades.

Frankly, I still don't quite understand the strategic predilection with making an inordinate number of trades. If everyone is reasonably sane, any trade offer should have to be close to 50/50 (or, if you prefer, 25/25/25/25 among "We both win"/"We both lose"/"I win - You lose"/"I lose - You win"), because no one knows the future (in particular when it comes to injury) for the players involved.

So, at best, it should be a situation where you believe you have small, marginal advantages (like 55/45 instead of 50/50) in offering trades and you try to compound that advantage over a large number of trades. But it still seems like that can all be undone by one or two untimely trades for cornerstone players who get injured and are out for significant time right as you pick them up.

Trades no but stream yes. I had 110 wins last year and had Skubal and Skenes as my only regular must starts. I stramed the 2nd most points at 3 different positions based on matchups because I didn’t have a top 5 player I wanted to start every game. IMO you can steam more points than a regular unless it’s a top 5 player at that position.

The roster size and number of teams should have been clear.

12-team, 23-man roster leagues are the minors compared to the depth of this league.

Be advised… this is a deep league -15 teams, 26-man rosters. It can be a little more time consuming than your default, 12-team Yahoo public or pay league.

Nope. I will get used to it. Just might not find as good of streams as 10 -12 team leauges. I will just draft different and stream fewer spots. Change my top 5 philosophy to to 8. I have a plan

Spencer Strider? Seems like a long term no brainer. Gallen is my only other SP worth mentioning, or I could leave a spot open and take best SP in the predraft round.

I’m crazy but healthy Jazz could be 25/40. I’m a dreamer.

Strider play would be more for going forward with him rather than 2025. I’d draft knowing I have to hedge on him.

Yordan doesn’t blow & it looks like he digs the high ceiling players… so ya, Strider’s probably on his radar. You could just plan to draft him a round or two earlier than his ADP.

You can keep both Strider & Jazz, right?
