This was a 2023 film that I had not seen. I watched it last night. I can’t find a thread on this film, so I’m starting one.
Omg! This movie is insane! I loved it! Emma Stone was fabulous in it.
This is a Frankenstein absurdist comedy set in quasi Victorian times that resemble Jules Verne/ steampunk land with Art Nouveau buildings. Stunning set designs! Weird vaguely Victorian costumes. Discordant music to punctuate.
And the sex, OMG the sex, so much sex! How did this film even get made let alone how was it mainstream?
It really was a lot of fun.
