And remains there another week. The Prem is off next week while the lower tiers play the FA Cup 4th round qualifying, but the'll be back the next. Liverpool has a big match at home with Chelsea. Arsenal travels to Bournemouth and ManCity to Wolves.
Re: LIverpool goes top table
Liverpool looks like a contender.
Re: LIverpool goes top table
Liverpool is still learning and developing SLot ball. not saying they can't challenge but they haven't played anyone yet. Klopp left Slot with a great team that was challenging for a while last season until they faded at the end.. this is basically the same team but better.
the next run of games after the international break with Alisson out for the next 6 weeks will show if they are title challengers or not.
Chelsea Home
Arsenal Away
Brighton Home
Aston Villa Home
Southampton Away
Man City home

Table watching before Christmas is a fruitless endeavor. Trust me.
Re: LIverpool goes top table
Table watching is good fun.
No matter what time of the season.

ManCity hosts 19th place Southampton on Saturday while Liverpool visits Arsenal for the "Sunday Night Football" match. Big match for October.

Re: LIverpool goes top table
ManC, Liverpool, and Arsenal all play mid-table clubs this morning, and as I type this they're all three down 1-nil in their matches. Sure, a long time to play in each and things are sure to change, but there's a good chance someone in the title race is dropping points today.
Correction, Arsenal isn't down 1-0, they lost 1-0.

Re: LIverpool goes top table
ManCity has lost their fifth in a row, a 4-nil thrashing at the hands of Spurs. They are now 8 points behind Liverpool nearly a third of the way through the season.
