Never said there weren't any, only said
Name 1 good inexpensive taco shop in or around St Louis.
I haven't found any.
Tell me, who is selling these healthy toasted ravioli in St Louis? No one. It's the same bar food (bleep) everywhere for the most part.
Not saying they can't be made, it's not what most people are making in st Louis or think of when you are taking toasted ravioli.
And listen mr Indiana, small authentic handmade burritos are all over the west coast, and Mexico, you are talking out your (donkey).

You are right about El Maguey. They may be the world's biggest user of Cheese Whiz. Any of these would qualify as authentic:L88 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024 22:09 pmManchester Road from Wiedman to 109.Bighorn66 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024 16:21 pmBobbyOrr is a faux sophisticate. A couple months ago he was pining for authentic Mexican burritos (like the ones he had in LA). Well LA doesn’t sell authentic Mexican burritos (which are really a regional food and much smaller than the things they sell in LA).SRV1990 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024 14:00 pmThat's the biggest load of idiotic bull[shirt] I've read in ages, even from a condescending [ablution] like you. Every single taco you mentioned would be thrown in the trash by most people with taste buds. But since you're the resident expert who longs for what LA has, I'm sure you slop it up.BobbyOrr wrote: ↑30 Jul 2024 07:57 amO brother, are you really that dense ?SRV1990 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2024 10:25 amIn your typical condescending manner (very Beld-like, I might add), you act like tacos are some delicacy. It's cheap garbage food, which I happen to like. The only comparison I made was to expect a city like St. Louis, with a fraction of the Latino population as LA, to have as many taco "shops" as LA. I'm sorry my very simple comment sailed way over your head.BobbyOrr wrote: ↑29 Jul 2024 09:06 amNon Thankfully,.... LOL seriously, comparing that c.r.a.p to a taco.![]()
Your assuming things in you're warped internet small mind without actually using that thing 3 feet above your (donkey).
First, toasted ravioli or gooey butter cake is garbage food. Nothing healthy at all, junk.
Taco's can be super healthy, IF you are smart enough to realize it. Tofu taco's, Shrimp and fish taco's,
Chicken tacos, Veg tacos, or. is that way over your head![]()
and ps. Taco Bell is not Mexican food in case you didn't know.
Expecting to find just 1 good taco shop in a progressive big city like st Louis,.... O, wait a minute,...
No one ever said they should be on every corner. And what insite you have to realize La has a larger Latino population, wow.
I was simply asking if anyone new of 1 good taco shop in the area, not 10, because I haven't found 1.
Wake up grasshopper and maybe wear a sign, I'm stupid.![]()
You should hop on a plane and quickly relocate back to the land of tacos. Or go eff yourself. Either would make most of us happy.
I live in Indiana and eat tacos about every work week day. The factory at which I work is on a street with eight Mexican restaurants. I can’t believe St. Louis doesn’t have something like that. I can believe he doesn’t know where they are.
Most pretty good. Mia Lupita very good. San Jose is kinda of new good food.
Anything called El Maguey is dogmeat or worse.

Authentic Mexican burritos, my (donkey). These are supersized American Glutonic adaptations. Best burritos in LA.BobbyOrr wrote: ↑31 Jul 2024 08:36 am Lol

I’ll repeat myself. I’ve spent a list of time in Mexico City supporting my company’s factory. I never saw burritos. Tacos, yes, enchiladas, tamales, empanadas, mole, [fork]ing incredible meals yes. From the quick research I did, they appear to be a regional thing—northwest Mexico and Southwest US. Perhaps Mexico City is different, but most times we don’t eat the types of Mexican food served in the US. I’m not a Mexican food expert and don’t come on this board claiming to be.

Then to show that there are other variations:
This is a quote found on the internet.
"McGurk’s Pub has spinach artichoke toasted ravs with a house-made dipping sauce similar to ranch. They are a REALLY good alternative to the more “traditional” toasted rav."
As you see, there are many variations of toasted ravioli, just as there are many variations of tacos.
Re: Your handy glossary for ordering tacos
You're wasting your time. You see, Bobby is better than all of us, Bobby knows more than all of us and whatever Bobby says, goes. Just wish Bobby would go back to the dumpster that is CA so he/she/it can get all of the tacos he/she/it wants. Would make St. Louis a better place.abuxb wrote: ↑31 Jul 2024 19:24 pmHere is one example:BobbyOrr wrote: ↑31 Jul 2024 08:36 am

Bobby apparently has never heard of Cherokee Street?
Re: Your handy glossary for ordering tacos
But why, oh why, can’t I find good, authentic Antarctic food anywhere in this God-forsaken city?
Re: Your handy glossary for ordering tacos
I don't need any boomersplaining tacos, thank you.
