MANCHESTER, MO – October 03, 2012: Located in Apple Tree Square in Ballwin, JudyJo’s Jewelry is bringing something new to the area, or rather something old.
Walking into JudyJo’s Jewelry is like stepping into a small-town boutique. There are no two things exactly the same in JudyJo’s. Judy Sprecher, owner of JudyJo’s Jewelry, has captured a unique feel that strays from the ordinary bustling West County business.
Sprecher’s store is small and simple, and yet an interesting divergence from other retail clothing & accessory stores in the area. From antique glassware and large framed photographs, to vintage jewelry and purses, JudyJo’s Jewelry is truly a throwback to a small-town culture. Much of JudyJo’s jewelry and accessories are previously owned items, but some are hand-crafted pieces from Sprecher’s partners. Among some of the best-selling jewelry are hand-crocheted necklaces and blown glass pendants.
When explaining the journey that led to opening the boutique after 20+ years in retail furniture, Sprecher said, “I’ve put everything into this store, financially and emotionally. It’s everything we have.”
In celebration of the store’s Grand Opening, Sprecher will host an Open House event on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 pm open to the public. The store will extend past its normal operating hours to offer hors d’oeuvres and drinks to customers as they browse through the store.
