St. Louis, MO – On Saturday, October, 13th & Sunday, October 14th 2012, Time 4 Fun will host the St. Louis Kids Expo at North County Recreational Complex at 2755 Redman Road, St. Louis, MO 63136.
The “St. Louis Kids Expo” will facilitate an environment where organizations, businesses, non-profits, churches & schools will act as a weekend resource center for families to be Entertained, Educated & Empowered. This initiative aims to ENTERTAIN families with exciting performances that will display local talent of singing, dancing from legendary dance crew Matiff Dancers, fitness demonstrations, HUGE Inflatable Fun World by Time 4 Fun, exciting foods and much more.
Secondly, this initiative will EDUCATE participants through interactive workshops from organizations such as Applied Scholastics, power panel discussions with athletes & entertainers such as the 2012 Olympic Women’s 100mh Silver Medalist “Dawn Harper”, online integration, social media, educational materials, Kid ID Program by New York Life Insurance, life skills training, resource scavenger hunt for fabulous prizes and educational consulting by Next Chapter Education Consulting Services.
Finally, this initiative will EMPOWER the community by facilitating a resource and networking environment with its strategic partners, vendors and sponsors. Empowerment will be made possible through literature distribution, attendee gift bags, developing relationships with organizations, the introduction of New Mentorship Programs from Rich Girls, Real Women Inc. and Sports Programs by All American Athlete.
The community will have an opportunity to win fabulous prizes by participating in the EDGE Business Solutions “Resource Scavenger Hunt”. Attendees will be rewarded with multiple chances to win prizes that include but not limited to: Android Tablet, Savings Bonds, Nike Sneakers, Free Food and more.
