ST. LOUIS, MO., OCTOBER 4, 2012— Remedy Church is a new church in St. Louis who wants to share their vision of their Remedy of Rescuing the Broken, Restoring the Bankrupt, and Re-producing the Believer.
Founders and co-pastors Josh and Jessica Burton desire is to rescue those who are far from God, and see them restored to the abundant life in Christ, so they can re-produce spiritually by using their spiritual gifts and talents to accomplish God’s will for their life.
So, why another church to St. Louis?, Well, Remedy believes “starting a new church is one of the best ways of reaching people for Christ. Second, God likes variety and flavor!” Their goal is “not to be “everything” to “everyone”, but to bring our own style and flavor to the city.” “We are excited to join the team of churches in St. Louis and help reach out to people who have not yet committed their lives to Christ.”
Pastors Josh and Jessica Burton have been active in church leadership for the past nine years. They previously planted a church in Hawaii and pastored a church in Michigan. They both believe their purpose is to share the message of the gospel with great simplicity and introduce people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Remedy Church goal is to make a massive impact in the St. Louis area, impacting the lives of hundreds on their Launch Day. They aim to share the love of Jesus with as many as they possibly can, and as a result, lives will be changed and many will find the Remedy.
