St. Louis, MO - October 1, 2010 -- Less than a month after a successful charitable effort that; raised funds, earned a healthy amount of national media attention including a Fox2 news morning feature, and securing $11,000 worth of public service announcements to support No Kid HungryTM, Share Our Strength's week-long national campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015, Liberty Restaurant Group (LRG) is proud to announce the launching of the Fall Fundraiser - Burger King Scholarship Program.

This annual event raises funds for scholarships through the sale of a special coupon book that is available to customers by visiting one of the participating locations. For each $1 donation made at a BURGER KING® participating restaurant, guests will receive a coupon booklet containing 7 free BK® Value Menu-sized Fry coupons and 1 small Coca-Cola branded drink product coupon.

"We recognize the concern from families about the rising cost of college so we have purposely selected students who are highly motivated and who have already proved their ability to do well academically. Last year we awarded $7,000 in scholarships in the form of $1,000 scholarships to 7 recipients. This year we will award 10 $1,000 scholarships for a total of $10,000. This is another way for us all to help invest in the future of our employees and your community," says Kelly Hasty, Liberty Restaurant Group.
