St. Louis, MO (JUNE 2012) - During June and July
2012, Grabber School of Hair Design located in Manchester, Missouri will
not only be training their students in the art of cosmetology, but also
giving them a lesson in philanthropy. Going beyond the call of duty,
one of the most recognized beauty schools in St. Louis will be donating
money to Friends of Kids with Cancer during the months of June and July.
For every student who enrolls in the July or August session of the
cosmetology program at Grabber School of Hair Design, the student will
get $1,000 off their tuition, plus $1,000 will be donated to Friends of
Kids with Cancer.
"I've had several members of my family that
have either had cancer or have been impacted by cancer. I believe that
anything that you can do to give back to the community and especially
help a child going through treatment is a great thing for anyone to do,"
said Steve Quick, Director of Grabber School of Hair Design.

In
addition to the fundraising element, the school hopes the program will
encourage their students to continue philanthropic endeavors after
graduation.
"It's really important for us to introduce our
students to ways to get involved in the community," says Allison
Schulte, the school's Director of Admissions. "What better way of
encouraging them than by helping them get a professional license so when
they move on to successful careers they already know the importance of
giving back and hopefully continue the practice," she adds.
Grabber
School of Hair Design is currently preparing to debut a brand new
facility off Watson Road in the Crestwood area. With state of the art
equipment, a stylish new look, and a sense of philanthropy, students
will be well equipped for a quality education at Grabber School of Hair
Design.
