Waterway Carwash and MADD team up this prom season to prevent drunk driving

Waterway Carwash and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) are working together for a safe and clean prom season at local high schools.

From May 12th thru May 20th, students can visit the Kirkwood Waterway location (10850 Manchester Rd.) to make a verbal pledge to be safe and sober this prom season.  Students that pledge will receive a symbolic MADD window cling.  Those students displaying the MADD window cling in the rear driver’s side window will receive FREE Express car washes at the Kirkwood Waterway until May 20th.

On Saturday, May 12th, from noon to 2pm, the Gateway Chapter of MADD volunteers will give out the symbolic red ribbon window clings to all drivers and MADD supporters at the Kirkwood Waterway.

Waterway is also teaming up with Kirkwood High School to encourage students to verbally pledge and receive their MADD window cling when a prom ticket is purchased.

“Waterway and MADD want to promote safe and responsible behavior during the 2012 prom season,” said Todd Smith, Senior General Manager of the Kirkwood Waterway.

All St. Louis Waterway Carwash locations will collect donations to support the Gateway Chapter of MADD during this eventful week.

Waterway Carwash provides a wide range of car wash services, offers premium gasoline and both traditional and high-end convenience store items.  For directions to the nearest Waterway location, visit www.waterway.com.
