Kari Lenz Joins Cedarhurst of Collinsville as Executive Director

Kari Lenz will be joining Cedarhurst of Collinsville as the Executive Director on October 1, 2012.  Kari is looking forward to serving assisted living residents in the quaint community of Collinsville. She is a seasoned leader, with a reputation for helping folks stay connected to their community through activities and volunteer involvement.  Kari holds a bachelor degree in Psychology & Sociology from the Maryville University.

Kari most recently served as Executive Director for the YMCA of Southwest Illinois.  Kari has worked for the YMCA for the past sixteen years and prior to this role, she held the following positions:  Director of Program Development & Greater Needs, Associate Executive Director, Senior Director of Programs, Director of Child Care Services and SACC Program Director

Kari has been married sixteen years to her high school sweetheart Dave Lenz and they have a black lab and two cats.  Kari has a passion for International Service and has developed collaborations internationally in addition to leading numerous service trips to help transform lives around the world.  Kari enjoys volunteering work, traveling, photography, fly fishing and mountain biking.
