Ron Mueller certified as Certified Global Business Professional

Ron Mueller, business development counselor, St. Charles Economic Development Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC), St. Charles, Mo., has passed the required exam to be named a Certified Global Business Professional by the North American Small Business International Trade Educators Association (NASBITE).

“I want to congratulate Ron on this certification,” said Chris Bouchard, interim state director of MO SBTDC. “It’s a great accomplishment professionally, a great honor for our organization and represents a large step forward in enhancing our efforts to assist Missouri companies in reaching global markets.”

NASBITE’s Certified Global Business Professional credential provides a benchmark for competency in global commerce. The designation demonstrates peer-certified ability to conduct global business in four key areas: global management, global marketing, supply chain management and trade finance.

In four years, only 500 candidates internationally have received the credential.

The MO SBDTC helps transform Missouri businesses from concept through start up, growth and expansion. MO SBTDC business development counselors are located statewide providing education and individualized assistance on a variety of business management issues.
