Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor, Hilda Solis, to visit St. Louis for: The Economy and the Latino Workforce
October 8, 2012 (St. Louis) – Hilda Solis, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor, will visit St. Louis on Wednesday, October the 10th to present the topic: The Economy and the Latino Workforce. The event will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM in the Century Room of the University of Missouri - St. Louis Millennium Student Center. This event is hosted by the Latino Legacy Project in collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and with support from the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association. Hilda Solis is the 25th United States Secretary of Labor, serving in the Obama administration. She is a member of the Democratic Party and served in the United States House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009, representing the 31st and 32nd congressional districts of California that include East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.
