Stinson Morrison Hecker Partner Michael Gibbons to Participate in Presidential Debate Panel

St. Louis Public Radio sponsoring debate at its studio

St. Louis – Michael Gibbons, a partner at Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP and former Republican member and president pro tem of the Missouri Senate, will participate in National Public Radio’s presidential debate panel, to be held at the studios of St. Louis Public Radio (KWMU, 90.7), 7-10:30 p.m. Wed., October 3. 

NPR’s Talk of the Nation will broadcast its afternoon program from the St. Louis Public Radio studios. After the broadcast, NPR will host a presidential debate watch party and a before-and-after panel discussion moderated by award-winning journalist and Talk of the Nation host Neal Conan and NPR's “Political Junkie,” Ken Rudin. Joining Gibbons on the panel are former Missouri Gov. Bob Holden, KWMU reporter Chris McDaniel and St. Louis Beacon reporter Jo Mannies.

Gibbons, a member of Stinson’s Government Solutions practice group, served as an elected official for more than 22 years.  He started his political career on the Kirkwood City Council then was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives and, finally, the Missouri Senate, where he concluded his tenure as president pro tem.
