Ms. Linda L. Allan, of Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois, has been elected as President of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association. The installation took place at its 130th annual convention, which was held June 22-24 at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria, Illinois. Linda will serve as President until June of 2011.

Linda is a member of all IFDA Committees, as an ex-officio member. She had served on the Convention, Constitution & By-Laws and Legislative Committees as well as Regional Director and President-Elect. She is currently serving as Deputy Coroner of Madison County. She is a member of the Madison County Funeral Directors Association. She is also a past chairman of the Collinsville Italian Fest and serves on the Colllinsville Chamber of Commerce, Collinsville Planning Commission, the Uptown Development Committee and is a member of the Al Sihah Temple #29 - Daughters of the Nile.

She is the daughter of Robert and Nancy Ciuferi of Collinsville, Illinois. Linda has one son, Nicholas D. Allan, age 26, a student dentist in his fourth year of dental school at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.

The Illinois Funeral Directors Association is a 129 year old association for funeral directors and embalmers. Its members represent funeral homes in every county of the state.
