ST. LOUIS (July 17, 2012) – Mueller Prost PC is proud to congratulate Quinn R. Martin, CPA, Manager, Business Services, on his recent appointment to the MSCPA Peer Review Acceptance Board for Missouri.

This Board reviews all Peer Reviews submitted to the state for review before acceptance and provides feedback as to the necessary actions or findings by the peer reviewers and their clients. The group also helps set policies related to the administration of the peer review program.

Quinn Martin has more than ten years of experience in assurance services and auditing, and is known for his technical knowledge related to the application of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, construction, distribution, and a variety of other niche industries. Quinn also specializes in employee benefit plan (“EBP”) audits, as well as system and engagement peer reviews; he also serves as Mueller Prost PC’s practice leader in both of these areas.

As a member of Mueller Prost PC’s Operating Committee, Quinn has been instrumental in forming and implementing the firm's best practices. He leverages this knowledge to assist his clients in the development of their own best practice programs to streamline internal processes, improve financial position, results of operations and cash flows and to deliver additional value to their customers. In addition, Quinn serves as a lead advisor for the firm’s risk based auditing practice and in the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures.

Quinn received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Lindenwood University, and his Master’s degree in business administration from Webster University. He is also a United States Naval veteran who served as a medic in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Quinn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves in various other civic organizations.
