July 11, 2012-Saint Louis, MO-While the metropolitan area is ablaze with temps in the triple digits, National Academy of Beauty Arts is dreaming of cooler temps, holiday fun and lots of presents for those in need. Beginning July 16 until August 3, 2012, National Academy will host a Christmas in July celebration and will be collecting new and gently used toys and books, non perishable food items, baby supplies, toiletries and kitchen items. Clients who donate will receive a coupon for 50 percent off of any one service, with a limit of 10 coupons per client.

The Christmas in July benefit was started in 2010 and in just two years, National Academy was able to collect more than 10,000 items for those in need. Because National Academy has three campuses in the St. Louis Metro area, it is sure to share the love and abundance throughout the area. This year, the St. Louis Campus will donate to Circle of Concern, Rainbows for Kids and Hand in Hand; the Festus/Crystal City Campus will donate to Radiant Life and Heaven’s Closet and Farmington will donate to the Farmington Ministerial Alliance and Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council.
